This large Dharmachakra was originally created as an offering for the "Long Life Puja" of various high Lamas in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It stands approx 42cm high, and is 23cm at its widest. It is cast in extremely durable polyurethane, hand painted and then finished with 22 ct gold leaf. The wheel is an early Indian symbol of sovereignty , protection and creation, and was adopted by Buddhism as the main "wheel turning" of the universal monarch (Buddha) as a symbol of Buddha's teachings "wheel of dharma" or "dharmachakra". If your order one of these, it will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
